DOWNTOWN WATER IMPROVEMENTS
CONSTRUCTION NOTICE UPDATE

The City of Wahoo Utilities continues to enhance its water infrastructure to provide reliable, high-quality service across the city. Here’s what you can expect in the next phase of construction that is replacing outdated water mains and service lines across 33 blocks of the downtown business area.
Phase 1
- · North Linden Street (E 1st Street to E 7th Street): Construction will take place throughout July, except for the intersections at E 5th Street and E 6th Street.
- · East 4th Street (N Maple Street to N Linden Street): Construction will take place throughout July.
- · East 8th Street (N Linden Street to N Beech Street): Construction will begin later in July.
- Completion: The first phase of construction will be completed, cleaned up, and reseeded in mid-to-late August.
Phase 2
- · East 5th Street: Construction will begin during the second week of July.
Important Information
- · Temporary parking spots and sidewalk closures will occur, but there will be no street closures at any location.
- Access to all businesses will be maintained throughout the construction period.
