CEMETERY SUPERVISOR

The City of Wahoo is seeking an individual to fill the role of Cemetery Supervisor. This position is responsible for performing and coordinating the daily maintenance and operational activities for the city's cemetery.  An incumbent may be required to perform duties on an on-call basis, as needed. 

A qualified applicant must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Two years of experience is preferred in the area of park/grounds and/or cemetery maintenance or related field or equivalent combination of education or training. An ideal candidate would have two years of supervisory experience or responsibilities. Must be able to work independently and organized. Must have a valid Driver's license.

Job classification and starting wage is dependent on qualifications and experience. Opportunity for pay increase after six months of employment. All offers of employment are conditional upon the successful completion of a physical exam, drug screening and background check.
