The City of Wahoo, Saunders County, and the Lower Platte North NRD formed the Lake Wananhoo Interlocal Agreement in 1997 to work on the development of Lake Wanahoo.  On October 30, 2008, a groud breaking ceremony was held for the construction of the embankment project.  Construction is underway!  For more information and photos taken during construction, check out the Lake Wanahoo information on the Lower Platte North NRD's website.
